Let’s get started!

Your first step to making this Dollar Tree Grapevine Wreath is to paint the Dollar Tree Gather lettering white with Folkart White Chalk Paint.

This is going to make sure that you can’t see the wood color peeking through once you apply the tissue paper.

Next, apply a coat of Mod Podge on top of the white paint. Then, lay the tissue paper down on top of the Gather lettering as evenly as you can.

I like to use a rolling pin to get the creases and wrinkles out of the tissue paper. If you’re worried about the tissue paper tearing, you can put a piece of plastic wrap on top of the tissue paper and then use the rolling pin.

Finally, use your Exacto knife to trim the excess tissue paper off of your Dollar Tree gather lettering.

Make the bow

Okay, to make the adorable bow for this Fall Wreath DIY, I used a bow maker tool that I made. You can always purchase one online.

I secured the bow with a zip tie and hot glued a piece of ribbon over the zip tie to cover it.

Put it all together

I took the 2 Dollar Tree fall bouquets, trimmed the stems so that they would fit onto the grapevine wreath, and then zip-tied them in place.

Next, I zip-tied the bow over the center of the fall bouquets and hot glued them for extra reinforcement. Finally, I hot glued the Gather lettering in place, and I was all done!
