This month, in the Creative Haven, our theme is “we can make that” and this DIY Farmhouse Christmas Frame is our first DIY of the month. This theme was requested by my members. Each member submitted something they found on Pinterest that they wanted to learn to make but was unsure how it was done. I thought this was a fun idea.

Alright, let’s have a look at the supplies that we will need!

August 3rd, 2020 Supply List for DIY Farmhouse Christmas Frame:

You will need: (items are shown in the photo or any substitution you prefer) Don’t forget, you are not required to use the exact items!

A frame of your choice (can be any size but I am using a 16X20)
Christmas Green Picks (I got mine at hobby lobby)
Paint Stir Sticks (you will need 12 for this size frame)
White paint and Brown Paint
Ribbon of your choice or fabric
A cut out of your choice (i am using the sticker from Hobby Lobby)
Berry Pics (hobby lobby)
You can use florals or Greenery Picks from Dollar Tree as well
E6000 (not shown) (you may want to use this in place of hot glue)

Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
Heat Gun or Dryer
Scraper
Zip tie
Paint Brushes (I use chip brushes like these)

Please substitute where you can! If it is not in your budget to purchase supplies, please get creative and think outside the box! Ask yourself, What else could you use?! Furthermore, do you have things at home you can use? You can still craft with us! BUYING SUPPLIES FOR THE CRAFTS in the Creative Haven is NOT a requirement. I simply want you to craft with us and make it your own.
