How to Make a Scrap Wood DIY Planter

Before you can make this adorable DIY planter, you need to get the wood pieces. I had some left over wood from another project, so them for this DIY!

Hot glue four pieces of scrap wood together to create a box without a top or bottom. Then, hot glue popsicle sticks across the bottom of the box.

Next, you’re going to paint the DIY planter! I used Dixie Belle Driftwood (grey) when I originally made this project, but you can use any paint you want!

Wrap burlap ribbon around the planter box and hot glue it in place. I did that around the top and bottom of the box.

Use popsicle sticks to make a small DIY picket fence and hot glue it to the front of your DIY planter box.

Wrap white jute twine around the bottom (just below the burlap) and top (just above the burlap) of the planter box.

Next, I used the white lace ribbon and cinched it into a circle and hot glued it together. It almost looks like a flower!

Hot glue that over the center of your DIY popsicle stick picket fence. I looped twine into the shape of flower petals and hot glued them over the top of the lace ribbon.

Lastly, hot glue a little button over the center of the flower and fill your scrap wood DIY planter box with your flowers/greenery of choice!
