Personally, I have always been intrigued by the gorgeous art that comes from the DIY paint pour process! And this girl is ready to give it a go! Alright, let’s have a look at the supplies that we will need!

May 4th, 2020 Supply List for DIY Paint Pour for Beginners

You will need: (items shown in photo or any substitution you prefer) Don’t forget, you are not required to use the exact items!

  1. •Your choice of surface (I am using a wood box, and a pack of round wood discs FOUND HERE!) But you can use a canvas too
  2. Pouring medium of your choice (Apple Barrel is Choice 1, Liquitex Choice 2, Pre-Mixed Choice 3) Floetrol Medium
  3. Plastic cups Found Here
  4. Gloves Find those here!
  5. Popsicle Sticks Get them here!
  6. Acrylic Paints of your choice! I am using Apple Barrel ones like these or the pack like this.

Personally, I am using neutral colors for my DIY Paint Pour for Beginners! I will be trying the Folk Art Medium and testing out the DOLLAR TREE PAINT POUR MEDIUM TOO!

You can also use POSTER PAINTS, ELMERS GLUE, SPRAY LUBRICANT, and DISH LIQUID, I have not tried these but I have read many blogs that suggest these products!
