How to make Mini Snowman and Santa Shelf Sitters

Bringing these mini snowman and Santa shelf sitters to life was so simple! The first step of making these two craft kits is to sand each piece.

Sanding helps remove the thin layer of residue that is left from our laser machines. I’ve found that if you don’t remove that layer, it can mess up the finish when you paint.

After sanding, wipe off the dust and get your paints ready! You can stain each piece with brown paint, but that is not required.

For these Christmas craft kits, I chose to use my Artix Paint Markers. I feel they just give me more control over the detailing on the smaller craft kits.

Paint each piece your desired color. You can see what I chose to do for mine in the finished photos and tutorial video.

Allow each piece to dry, then glue them together! I like to use Stickfast glue because I’ve found my kits last longer than when I use hot glue.
