For this project, I will be using these items, but you can substitute where you want.

- Dollar Tree Plastic Bowls (x2)
- Dollar Tree Nautical Rope
- Apple Barrel Burnt Umber Acrylic Paint
- Dollar Tree Raffia
- Dollar Tree Eucaluptus
- Ticking Fabric
- Dollar Tree Yellow Flowers
- Dollar Tree Wired Jute Cord (or floral wire)
- Blue/White Paisely Napkins (Tuesday Morning)
- Mod Podge
- Yellow Ribbon
- Hot Glue gun
- Glue Sticks
How to Make a Blue and White Bowl Pumpkin for Fall
Start this project by separating the plies of your napkin. You need to do this in order to properly secure the napkins to the bowl.
Otherwise, when you press the napkin onto the Mod Podge later, the top ply may not adhere properly and could start to pull from the surface.
Once you have the napkins ready to go, hot glue your bowls together to create the pumpkin’s shape. Then, cut your napkin into strips.
Apply Mod Podge to the bowls in sections the same size as your strips, one at a time, and press the napkin strips onto the Mod Podge with a piece of balled-up plastic saran wrap.
Repeat until the bowl is completely covered with the napkin. To make the stem, remove the wire from the Dollar Tree wired jute cord and hot glue it onto the side of the jute twine.
Hot glue another piece of nautical rope on the other side of the wire. Repeat with a third piece of the nautical rope.
Bring it all together!
Bend the stem into shape and hot glue it to the top of the bowl pumpkin. Next, cut several strips of the ticking fabric and yellow ribbon.
Lay them in an X pattern, alternating as you go, and add some raffia in too. Secure the center with a piece of jute twine, then hot glue the bow at the base of the stem.
Finally, hot glue the sunflower over the center of the bow and hot glue the Dollar Tree eucalyptus on either side of the flower, coming out from behind the bow.
