This week’s Creative Haven Project is going to be easy and super cute! We are making DIY Round Farmhouse Riser! You can never have too many things to add height and layer your decor with. It is also important to add in different heights and shapes to your vignettes. So this week’s Creative Haven VIP project will be something you can make easily to add a little something extra to your home decor styling adventures!

Alright, let’s have a look at the supplies that we will need!

June 1st, 2020 Supply List for DIY Round Farmhouse Riser:

You will need: (items shown in photo or any substitution you prefer) Don’t forget, you are not required to use the exact items!

2 round surfaces (I am using 2 Dollar Tree Mirrors) or you can use a wood disc like this one
Chalk Type or Acrylic Paints of your choice! I am using Folk Art Paints in white
A base for your riser (i am using a glass candlestick from Dollar Tree) (i found these unfinished wood ones)
Wood beads I am using the larger ones for this (This is the bead pack I order)
Scrapbook paper of your choice
Nautical Rope (I got mine at Dollar Tree) or you can use this one
Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
ModPodge
Heat Gun or Dryer
Paint Brushes (I use chip brushes like these)

Please substitute where you can! If it is not in your budget to purchase supplies please get creative, think outside the box! What else could you use?! You can still craft with us! BUYING SUPPLIES FOR THE CRAFTS in the Creative Haven is NOT a requirement. I simply want you to craft with us!
