Who crafts while on vacation??? LOL, well me of course! We are taking a family vacation to Destin! I absolutely love that place! Even though, I am going on vacation, you know I cant stay away from a good Vacation DIY project!

So for this week, I decided that I needed to make something with supplies I could easily pack away in my luggage!

Dollar Tree Mirror Makeover Ideas

For this Dollar Tree Centerpiece DIY, i am going to be using these hexagon-shaped mirrors. However, you can use any small dollar tree mirror the round ones would be perfect for this project!

Basically, I am making something that could have so many uses! Such as a decorative lantern, a cloche, a decorative dome, or a decorative cage. You will be able to use this project as a centerpiece in so many ways or display it by itself!

Alright, let’s have a look at the supplies that we will need!

July 5th, 2021 Supply List for Dollar Tree Centerpiece DIY:

You will need: (items shown in the photo or any substitution you prefer) Don’t forget, you are not required to use the exact items! “As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.”

2 – Hexagon mirrors from the Dollar Tree (or item of your choice)
2 – packs of Dollar Tree Crafters Square wood dowels
Reed (we have used this previously in other Creative Haven Projects
Dollar Tree adhesive cork sheet
Paint colors or stains of your choice. (i am using black paint for this)
20 mm wood beads you will need 6
1 of the caps you get in a pack at Walmart
Glue Gun
Glue Sticks
E6000
Heat Gun or Dryer
Paint Brushes (I use chip brushes like these)
Baby Wipes

Please substitute where you can! If it is not in your budget to purchase supplies please get creative, think outside the box! What else could you use?! You can still craft with us! BUYING SUPPLIES FOR THE CRAFTS in the Creative Haven is NOT a requirement. I simply want you to craft with us!
