This week in the Creative Haven VIP group we are painting a Dollar Tree Canvas! I love painting on canvas and I don’t get to do it as often as I like. This easy Pumpkin Painting using acrylic paint will guide you step by step!

Did you know Dollar Tree sells larger canvases? If not, you gotta check out your local Dollar tree and browse their canvas choices. They are the cheapest canvas for painting on the market! I promise!

Pumpkin Painting Design

I often just free-hand my canvas paintings but this time for the Creative Haven members I decided to create a pumpkin painting design to help get you started! It is super easy to use, you just log in to the Creative Haven members area and go to CH Exclusive printables and you will see it there.

Print out the 2 sheets, line them up and then trace them on with carbon paper underneath.

I know my pumpkin drawing isn’t the best but I sketched it out free-hand and then went over it with a marker but that won’t matter when you are using a tracer to paint. The paint will actually be what we use to make this Easy Pumpkin Painting using acrylic paint beautiful!

Alright, let’s have a look at the supplies that we will need!

September 27th, 2021 Supply List for Easy Pumpkin Painting using acrylic paint

You will need: (items shown in the photo or any substitution you prefer) Don’t forget, you are not required to use the exact items! “As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.”

Dollar Tree Canvas 11×14
Paint of your choice: I am using a variety of paints in a variety of colors
- I will be using heavy bodied acrylic paints (amazon has this acrylic paint set on sale)
- Craft Acrylic paints
- and basic acrylic paints (amazon has an affordable acrylic paint kit)
Dollar Tree brushes (amazon also has this brush set that is affordable)
Dollar Tree Painting tools the plastic ones work I use the metal and wood handle palette knives and tools like these I bought on amazon
Heat Gun or Dryer
You will need to get the Pumpkin painting design from the CH members area (example is below) that is included with your membership.

Please substitute where you can! If it is not in your budget to purchase supplies please get creative, think outside the box! What else could you use?! You can still craft with us! BUYING SUPPLIES FOR THE CRAFTS in the Creative Haven is NOT a requirement. I simply want you to craft with us!
